The show is based on the novel by Dame Jilly Cooper.
The cast of Rivals includes Doctor Who's David Tennant, EastEnders legend Danny Dyer, and Poldark's Aidan Turner in leading roles. Other actors such as Alex Hassell, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Victoria Smurfit, Lisa McGrillis, Emily Atack, Catriona Chandler, Gabriel Tierney, Gary Lamont and Lara Peake also feature.
Luke Pasqualino, known for his role as Bas Baddingham in the Disney+ series, which was released on 18 October, is another familiar face in the cast.

He first gained recognition as Freddie in the popular teen drama Skins, before moving on to film and TV roles.
