Anil Bheem, also known as The Vocalist, (May 14, - February 4, ) was a Trinidadianchutney musician, singer and radio personality.
Career
Bheem began his career in July employed by FM, a local radio station. He is notable for having been with the radio station for nearly 30 years at the time of his death, where he hosted a daily program.[1]
In the late s he earned the title of 'Chutney Soca King' after a series of hits on the local airwaves.[2] Well known songs of his include Hanuman Chalisa, Bole Bole Hanuman, Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai, Saray Zamanay, Just Walk Into My Life, Dil Ka Rishta, Bolo Langani Hee, The Indian Anthem, Jab Koi Baat, Teri Ore and Cyah Go No Way.
