          Pitseolak Qimirpik was born on July 26th, in Iqaluit, Nunavut. He was born in Iqaluit like almost all children born in the community of Cape Dorset after   Very few births still happen in Cape Dorset as there is no hospital in the community.

          The artist from Kinngait, NU, has been working with stone since he was just thirteen, but in he began to create vibrant coloured pencil drawings that pop.
